Why can't I get rid of download complete notifications for some files?

can't get rid of "download complete" notifications for same files

I keep getting notifications "download complete" for some files I downloaded.

I swipe them away and they return.

I am on 4.2.2

I have heard about going to settings..apps..download manager and clearing the cache but maybe that's a later option, as I see no such option..

Hi, welcome to the forums! Which phone do you have? If you can't find your download manager in settings - apps - all tab try this. Next time you get the notification long press on it and then tap on "app info".
