Why can't I hear my phone conversations from my car stereo?

Can not hear phone conversation from car stereo

I connected my Nexus 6P to my car stereo via an audio cable. While connected I can hear musics or other audios played out from Nexus 6P, but can not hear phone calls. Why is it and how to solve the problem?

Welcome to Android Central! When it's plugged into the car's aux port and you make a call, do you only hear the other person through the earpiece speaker? Also, when you make a call, make sure the phone's volume is turned all the way up. It's possible for the Media volume to be up (hence you can hear music on the car stereo), but the in-call volume is separate and might be very low, which might not be enough to be heard over the car stereo.
