Why can't I hear the person on other end of the call when connected to wifi?

Cannot hear person on other end of the call when connected to wifi

When my phone is connected to my home wifi, I can barely hear the person on the other end of the call. But if I turn off wifi, everything is fine.

I'm in Australia with Virgin Mobile, the phone is only one month in contract, Virgin Mobile has sent my phone back to Sony to repair, but the result was no fault found, and they have reinstalled the phone. However, the problem is still there.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

I had to turn it off. There is a delay when the call starts and it sounds like I'm at the McDonald's drive thru. It also kept telling me that I was almost out of range. Don't know if it's a WiFi setting or phone to fix this.

Check to see if Wifi-Calling is turned on (Settings, More Settings, Wifi Calling). I read about it on the T-Mobile webpage. Not sure if its carrier specific or not.
