Cant install apps onto s4 mini

I wont to install some applications onto my phone, the problem is it keeps trying to install stuff onto an sd card, which I dont have, my phone has plenty of room free, is there some way to make it install and dl onto the phone instead of an sd card?

Re: Cant install apps onto s4 mini

Where are you getting the apps from?

What are the apps?

Why do you think it's trying to install only to an SD?

Is it trying to install them or no, saying that you need an SD?

You know that part of your internal memory is partitioned as an SD card. Is still internal memory but it's a virtual card.

I haven't noticed any apps from the Play Store that require or automatically install to SD, but perhaps with your model there's some difference.

Re: Cant install apps onto s4 mini

im getting the apps of the inbuilt internet browser. I can download the apps, but the app is an installer, when ever I try to install it says some sort of error involving no sd

Re: Cant install apps onto s4 mini

Have you looked for this same app or a similar one at the Play Store? It may not be compatible your device. Plus I'm not sure how much I would trust an app off the internet. If you must have it tho, have youturned on the option to install from unknown sources? I think it's under security.

Re: Cant install apps onto s4 mini

Thanks for the reply, my phone was given to me by my brother, he had rooted his device but factory reset it. But im experiencing an error "playing from illegal device" even after the factory reset, im using a program thats meant to fix this

Re: Cant install apps onto s4 mini

Factory resetting doesn't remove root. A lot of times even restoring S On doesn't restore permissions lost due to root... I'd look around for a different app cause it sounds like that one just isn't compatible.
