Why can't I load images while on wi-fi on some apps and GPS doesn't work either?

Can't load images while on wi-fi on some apps and GPS doesn't work eiter

Hi, I went from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to an LG G4, when running the facebook app or tumblr app the images take forever to finally load and bt forever i mean minutes. I don't seem to have this issue while at work on wi-fi only at home. Must be the network at home right? I would agree except that on the S4 it works fine. Is there a setting on the phone I should look into. any advice or help is greatly appreciated. by the way, if i disable wi-fi on the phone it works fine.

Thanks for your suggestions; i had checked into all of this already. There were no security settings that stuck out and I had already rebooted the router; I even went as far as resetting the phone back to factory and started from scratch. What finally fixed my issue was setting the router back to factory defaults and setting it up in stages until it was where it needed to be for functionality and security. That did it; I vaguely recall having to do the same when i went to the samsung from blackberry. Again, thank you for your time..
