Sprint HTC EVO Slide will not make outgoing calls since 9/17/15-seems to be adding a "1" before any call and goes to "the number or code you have dialed is incorrect, please check...". Every other function works fine. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Phone app, tap the Menu button, and explore the settings. Look for an option called "Home Dialing" or something similar, which can be used to automatically add codes in front of a phone number--make sure it's turned off.
