Why can't i make purchase Google play app?

[Android Central Question]

Every time I try to make a purchase on my google play app it gives me an error. I am using my tablet and a new debit card and it won't let me buy anything

No details on what the error is? Does the card work in other places?

Sign out of Google, then sign back in using your main account which has the payment method attached. Good luck

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet do you have, and which country are you in? Are you certain your debit card was successfully added to your Google account?
