Why can't I move my apps to my SD Card on my Moto G3?

I cant move my app to sd card in moto g3 there is no option showing to move

Moto g3 newly buyed there is no option to move the app to SD card

Are you running Marshmallow or Lollipop? (5.x or 6.x?)

I am assuming this Marshmallow, you cannot move apps to the SD card when the card is setup as portable storage, that option is gone with the introduction of adopted (internal) storage. If you want to have apps on the SD card, then you must format your sd card as internal/portable memory.

I am not sure what you mean by "tried to go into it"... via a computer or how were you accessing and when/where did this message pop-up?
