Why cant i open my email

The phone fell and the sim card fell out its not a new sim. But know its asking for verification and i cant remember the password

If you attached you're phone number for password recovery, you can go to forgot password, and get the code texted to you. Which will allow you to reset the password.

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of verification is it asking for? Is it your lockscreen password, or a SIM lock password? Or it it just an email account you can't open in your email app?
