Why cant i root my samsung galaxy tab 3 lite

My samsung galaxy tab 3 lite running android 4.2.2 wont root. Ive tried all the youtube methods, kingroot says device not rootable, and every tutorial on google wont work. Is there something im missing?

Towel Root is for the 4.4.2 kernel only. Quport99, there are roots for 4.2.2, but you'll have to find one for the Tab 3 lite for your carrier. Try XDA Forums. (You might end up having to flash a rooted ROM.)

I don't root my devices, don't want the headaches that come with it sometimes.
