Android Central Question
I tend to take photos in the app, download them to edit them or pick which I like best, then repost in stories. Now when I take an Instagram Story photo in-app, I either need to post immediately or delete it. When I hit the "download" button, it says the photo's downloaded but no where to be found on my phone. However, if I make a video in Stories and download it to my phone before posting, it actually saves. This has been happening since I got my Pixel 5 in December.
I've: udpated, uninstall, reinstalled, tried to install a later version, checked Settings and made sure everything allows saving, and reached out to Instgram directly about this. Any resolution ideas?
