Why cant I see more than one day worth of email on my Galaxy S6 Active?

Why cant I see more than one day worth of email on my Galaxy s6 active

I switched from a S3 and it would show my older emails. This new S6 only shows todays emails on all of may accounts when I use the default email app that came installed on the phone. I have looked everywhere and cant seem to find a solution to this. Please help.

Not sure if its the same as my s6 edge but u click on the email icon. Select your email account at the top. Scroll near the bottom to "period to sync email" and then select what you want.

Are you using the Gmail app? If so, go into Settings and then click on your Gmail account email address. Check the setting called "Days of mail to sync". Mine is set to 30 days.
