why can't i see my text box whenever i type.

whenever i type on my keyboard there is no text box so I can't see what i sending to a person. i have to type a sentence and check to see if it's correct. which is annoying because i tend to send as soon as im dine typing what i need

Anyway, this may not be enough to offer you any really good advice but it might get us in the ball park.

What device do you have?

What keyboard are you using?

When you say there's no text box I assume you're saying that the keyboard covers the textbox, is this correct? Are you able to or have you tried pulling the screen up after you've begun typing or does this close your keyboard?

Are you able to pull the textbox up towards the top of the screen and start typing? What happens if you try this?

In some instances as you type the box grows does it ever grow tall enough for you see anything you've typed?

What have you tried to solve this? Have you tried a different keyboard? If so what was the result?



Without more information I'm going to suggest the simplest thing which is to try another keyboard. GBoard is a popular one and one that I like but there are plenty of popular ones out there, Swiftkey is another popular one with good ratings. Samsung keyboard is popular but has a poor reputation. Perhaps once you tell us more we'll be able to go farther.
