Question Why can't I see the messages I sent to one of my contacts

Why can't I see my text message that I sent to one of my contacts. This is the first time that I have experienced this and I don't know what to do.

In order for someone to help you, they would need additional information, such as your phone make and model, Android version and which messaging app you are using. Also may be helpful to know if the contact you are messaging is using an iPhone or an Android phone.
