Why can't I seem to delete one of my Gmail accounts?

Can't seem to delete one of my Gmail accounts

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and have my moms Gmail account hooked to my phone but nothing I try will delete it. Its getting in the way of the games I play. Please help
