Why can't I seem to unmute my Nexus 6 (Project Fi)?

I can't unmute my Nexus 6 (Project Fi).

Phone was working fine then the ring stopped. I fixed that but now the microphone is muted so no one can hear me on incoming or outgoing calls. I see the mic with a line through it but I cannot change it.
