why cant I send picture messages with the recent update after it rebooted

Note 4 did the android latest update thing this morning and I now cant send picture messages. It just says failed when I try...

Check with your carrier. It could be an outage, it could be an incomplete update flash, you could be trying to send a picture larger than 1MB - we can't do anything more than guess.

Had my Note 4 for 5 months, never ever sent a pic message, too dear. I always use WhatsApp.

I personally have found that if I attach a photo to a txt in the OEM message app and it is over 1 MB in size it will not send.
However, if I select the same larger than 1 MB picture in the Gallery and then choose to share it via TXT it is an automatically resized by the messaging app is attached and is sent just fine.
