Why can't I shut off system update alerts during certain hours on the Galaxy S6?

Every single member of our family was awakened at 2 am last night when their phones were beeping about a system update. ALL of our phones were in "Do Not Disturb" mode with the only exclusion list being a couple family members' phone numbers. There is no option to block system update alerts in the middle of the night. There is no slider to select/deselect that.

Please advise. Thank you.

I would send a complaint to Samsung. There is no option to disable update alert without root
