Why can't I talk and be online at the same time?

I have the moto g5 plus and I use Verizon. It won't let me multi-task, like looking up info online while having a conversation. My old moto x would do that. I've only had this phone for a couple months and I'm not sure if it's been like this the whole time or not.
If I can't talk and be online at the same time then that's awful and not at all useful!

It seems that your device is not supported for VoLTE feature under Verizon network. I would recommend to contact Verizon as well to check if your device model is support for Voice over LTE.
