That may get it out of sight, but it doesn't turn it off. It will constantly run in the background.

It can't be turned off. You can only hide it..

Right. I'm not sure if you're just agreeing with me or what...

The title asks about turning it off and I was just saying it can't be done (if it's stock).

At one time you could turn of my magazine but samsung fixed it where you can no longer do so..
