Why can't I turn my phone (LG G3) on?

When I push the button to turn my phone on, the Lg logo appears and then the screen turns black, and it appears again and it turns black again and it does that NON-STOP. Is my battery the problem?

Seems like it may be software related. Try plugging it in and then try turning it on. If that doesn't work then it is software related.

I tried and it did work but minutes after it restarts again.
