Why can't i uninstall my Facebook app??

After I updated it it started acting up

Preinstalled apps cannot be easily uninstalled.

Try clearing cache and data for the app in Settings, Apps.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? If it was preinstalled, the most you can usually do is uninstall updates (so that it reverts to the factory installed version), and then (if desired) Disable it in Settings>Apps​.
