Why can't I unlock my Note 3?

note 3 cant unlock swipe screen

Hi all,

When I swipe my screen to unlock, screens goes back to black where I have to push the button to show swipe screen and try again. I do this sometimes 3 4 times before it allows me to continue, I am using the black book like case with see through screen,

Are you using the stock lock screen?
