Why can't unlock my screen?

Since i updated to Marshmallow 6.0 the letters disappeared and i am unable to unlock my phone (samsung s6 edge). Any advice?

What do you mean, when you say it won't let you unlock it? Are you entering password? Or no password, and when you slide to unlock, it does nothing? Please register with our forums, and give us a bit more information.

You can try this: Enter Recover Mode and Wipe Cache Partition, this might help.
