Why cant i update my system?

please help me to understand why i cant update my system and i always see the same screen.

I know the method.
The question is why nothing is changed after I'm clicking the button.

The message say:
"last checked for update on Jul 18"

But I just checked now, and we are on the Nov 4th

Why do you expect anything to change? if you're on 4.4.4 there are no newer updates.

Well, i remember that in the old days the date would have changed to the current date and hour.
While now it's stay the same, like nothing really happened.

I get ya, like this (yes, I'm a night owl lol).

I wouldn't worry as long as you're on the current version. But if it bothers you, you can try deleting the data for the play services framework app (be forewarned, this may screw things up.)
