Why cant i use mobile data while on a phone call with my s9

[Android Central Question]

I am with a company called wekynect. I am wondering why I cant use the internet while on a phone call? I have a galaxy s9. My phone says that I need to hook up to wifi to finish setting up. Does that have anything to do with it?

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, are you saying your wireless provider is called wekynect? I couldn't find that on the web. In order to use the web while on a call, your phone has to either (1) support VoLTE on your carrier, or (2) be on wi-fi calling.

Need clarification on your phone provider, you mentioned just setting up, did you just get the phone or factory reset it?
