Why can't my callers hear me?

caller can't hear me

I made a call, caller can't hear me, but I can hear them. Tried calling them on several devices, problem is with my phone. Droid Maxx

Does this happen with every call or just a particular caller? Also, does your microphone work at all? Like recording a voice note or recording video with audio?

The best way to test is to try calling someone on speakerphone, or with a wired or Bluetooth headset. If they can hear you, then the problem is with the phone's primary mic (the speakerphone uses the secondary mic). You would then have to look into having the mic replaced.
