Why can't my Samsung galaxy note 3 play videos?

When I first got my Samsung galaxy note 3, it worked perfectly fine for me for many years and I could watch YouTube videos just fine. Not long after my wfcservice crashed (I fixed it the right way by disabling wfcservice and wifi calling then restarted it), I thought things would be back to normal, just a little different. but things were way different. I couldn't play videos anymore. every time I tried to watch a video it works lag and then say it wasn't working. the same thing happened to the sound. my sound also stopped working when the videos stopped working. is it because of the wfcservice or is it something else?

I just rebooted my phone and the sound still isn't fixed. maybe I'll go see if the android system web view is up to date and try that

And remember, if it's already up to date and the problem is still happening, then try uninstalling updates temporarily for it.

Hi! So sorry to bother you(if you even see thia comment, although I pray you DO!) but I was wondering if you ever resolved the problem you were having with your note 3? Mine is doing the EXACT same thing, and it is only after almost a full week of scouring google that I run into you, somebody else that has EXACTLY the same issues I hlam having. Any assistance you might offer would be appreciated, even if it's just a redirect telling who or where else to go. Blessings to you. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to Android Central! For which apps? The Note 3 is pretty old, so it might be losing compatibility with more and more apps and services.
