Why can't people hear me?

Lately, I have to turn on my speaker to have phone conversations where anyone can hear me. What's up. I can't find a microphone volume or mute setting.
Thanks,
SP

If people can hear you on speakerphone, or with wired/Bluetooth headsets, then it's likely that the primary phone mic is either blocked or faulty. Inspect the mic opening closely and see if it's clogged with lint or other debris.

Try turning off advanced calling and turning back on. Also keep phone away from face. See if that works. My fat cheek always tries to place a video call and then nobody can hear me.

Where is the primary mic located?
