Why cant samsung s8+ user hear me when calling my google Pixel 2XL

My brother and I both have the Google Pixel 2 XL, when our dad calls us from his S8+ he can never hear us good he say we sound far away. But when we talk through Google Duo he can hear us just fine.

I would check to see if it happens others call you. Could it be his phone?

No other people hear me fine and he says he can hear other people good too but when we call each other he can never hear me

Sounds like a network issue versus a phone issue.

I agree with Alneuit. Are you all on the same carrier? If so, bring your phone (or have your brother bring his phone) into the carrier, along with your father and his phone, and ask them if they can straighten it out or call tech support, or engineering if needed, to get it fixed. (Make sure it's a carrier-owned store, though. The carrier isn't going to bother for an independent dealer.)
