Android Central Question

Surely this has to be Android's biggest let down. I expext to be able to R click on a random internet image, click 'copy image' then paste it where ever I need to. But it seems Android doesn't have a 'clipboard' to do this. This is a basic function. If Windows can do it, why can't Android?

Welcome to Android Central! The standard clipboard is used for text only. I find it fairly easy to download an image to the phone and then use it from there.

Windows is a full desktop OS that averages about 20 GB in size with a clean install. Android is a mobile OS that takes about 3-4 GB. I don't think comparing the two directly makes a lot of sense. I suspect the standard clipboard option was purposely designed to be able to hold only a relatively small amount of data to preserve RAM.
