why did I lose my applications?

When I click on Internet it reads "the application Internet (process com.android.browser)has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I also lost most of my applications, when the system upgrade happened. When I try to launch them again I receive the above message.

Are you trying to open them from a folder? I've found that if I put apps in a folder and they update I'll get that message but they will open from the app drawer just fine. Try your app drawer if you're using a folder. Then just throw that icon away and add it back.
