I came here to figure out why my phone was yawning also but I figured it out without finishing the thread... you mentioned you had a daughter and I started hearing my yawn after loading some programs for my son. I think it is either the learning games from Fun4Kids or kids Doodle. I stopped my son from playing them suddenly and we did not close the programs so they were running in the background. I think they are trying to remind you that you are not taking any actions in the learning games and that it is still open. My phone stopped yawning as soon as i closed the apps. My phone was yawning every 5 minutes and i had a Bluetooth headset on so it was getting pretty annoying.

Thanks you have helped me, I also had the same issue, and I heard it several times at night thought it was my wife next day reading to my kids we all heard and it really freaked the kids out it sounds like a woman sighing for no reason, only heard it at night but it was the nights my kids played the kids game and now it makes since so thanks for figuring it out

Makes sense...I have three children and a had a TON of apps for them. They all have tablets now and they don't ever have my phone so I uninstalled all the learning/childrens games therefore I haven't heard it since! I halfway wish I could figure out which app it was exactly. More than likely it was Kids Doodle as you mentioned. I remember this app specifically while I can't almost name any of the others I had back then.... I've gotta admit the feature is pretty neat but can be horribly annoying! Anyways thanks to everybody... well everybody who actually had something halfway logical to say! I didn't think I'd ever figure this out!!!

Not sure why all the folks above this post felt it was necessary to chime in with silly remarks about feeding the phone food, etc!! The only useful post was Daniel's, that was exactly the correct solution. Wonder how many people give up after the first page of nonsense and don't make it to the answer?

I'm glad I stayed reading until the second page! My fiance's phone and my phone were both doing this and we thought we were hearing things! It would happen when we were placing calls and it was embarrassing lol.. but that must be what it is, we both have the doodle game for the kids, and we never closed out of programs but it's going to be a habit now! Thanks for writing this and thanks to the person who figured it out!
