Why did my screen go black on my Android Razor Maxx

The screen just disappearred with fading white lines and now I have no picture. I can call it and answer it but no screen. I tried to turn it off and back on but I cannot see to power it off

Welcome to the forums. It sounds like the display is damaged. Did the phone take a fall recently?
