why didn't my s memos transfer?

I had an S 4. I recently had to get a new phone so I got another S4. I transferred the sim card and the sd card but all my s memos are gone. Is there any fix for this?

They would sync to your Samsung account on your old device if you had an account running and syncing regularly.
If you can still run your old Samsung check in Accounts - Samsung and sync.
Running the same account on the new phone should bring them back.
Otherwise if you had run Samsung Kies on a pc.

Also try the Samsung Smart Switch program and app to see if it works on the S4. I suspect you mean your older device is not working though.

If the new S4 is running, or is updated to Android Lollipop, S-Memo is changed to S-Notes and they cannot be transferred then, afaik.
