Why do apps have so many glitches installing

So I've been having issue with the phone going slow so I decided to uninstall some games and so I uninstalled an 1.5gb game but problem still there. So I went and tried to install the game again. Earlier it was taking too long even though it was at 100mb and I had left it after redownloading and it was at 16mb!! after 2 or 3 hours!! What gives? And FYI my WiFi ain't that slow.

It could be a problem with the app itself. Remember, not everyone who releases Android apps is actually a software developer - some people just use apps to create apps for them - and if the app they use isn't very good, their app won't be either.

If uninstalling the app didn't fully uninstall it (because it left junk behind that the installer didn't know about), reinstalling it could be a problem.

I find updating Facebook app can take an eternity. Often it can still be installing 10 mins later and quite often will fail several times first before it actually works. Other apps seem ok
