Why do apps open then quickly close?

App opens then quickly closes

When I open the facebook app it starts then closes immediately.

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Did this just recently start happening? Have you been able to use the app before? Any recent updates to the Facebook app?

Go to Settings>Apps, select Facebook, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again and see if it works. If it does, you'll have to log back into your account.

maybe run out of memory.

Same problem arises in moto e4 plus while opening Google maps. I cleared data, cache and force stopped. Again the issue still there.
