Why does it happen? I changed artist name and song name and size jumped from 2MB to 5MB. And I just noticed that after I did this with like 100 songs... So I probably doubled my music folder size just by changing this info. I use Huawei P10 Lite device and did this with Huawei's default music app. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks in advance

It could be because music is in a compressed format, and changing the iTag info changed the file format to uncompressed. (That would be the fault of the iTag editor.) I don't know of a program that can rip the iTag header off, compress the rest, then combine them, which is what you'd have to do - the iTags have to remain uncompressed. You could try Audacity, though. Just open the files (or import them if they're mp3s), then save them (or export them if they're mp3s).

Can you please explain it in more detail, please? I don't understand what should I do in Audacity. Or does anyone else know solution for this problem? Thanks in advance
