contacts keep disappearing on my galaxy 6 edge

After inputting my contacts on my phone, I keep losing contact numbers and I have to keep reinputting them

Welcome to Android Central! Are you entering these contacts into your Google account, your Samsung account, or the local Phone account? When you create a new contact, the account it will be saved to is shown at the top of the contact entry screen, and you can tap it to change it.
