Why do contacts so long to load?

Hi all, I've noticed that on my Samsung note 5 takes a really long time to load contacts from the phone app.

On previous samsung devices you would type in the number corresponding to the name of the contact and it would load spontaneously as you typed, however on my note 5 it seems to load these contacts very slowly (5-10 seconds).

Has anyone else noticed this issue and is there any way to solve it?

Haven't seen this behavior. Some software is messing you up.

Might try a cache partition clear. It definitely shouldnt take that long.

Guessing your using stock phone app?

Sent with my white Note5 with nonremovable back and no SDcard!

what actually happens when you clear cache partition? will i lose contacts photos etc?

I have the samsung s7 edge and ut take a long time to load contacts
Ive tried the casche clearing too it fos not help..it says i have 28kb only contact then too it takes long..
What do i do..
