Why do I get an inconsistent results error message when I try to install Xfinity Tv Go on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro?

Xfinity Tv Go install on Samsung Galaxy Note Pro - Inconsistent results

In Google Play Store, Xfinity Tv Go app says "Installed." But on the (next) Permissions page, it says it is Not a compatible device.

I have this same app, operating fine, on a second, identical device. Both devices are a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet.

Tearing hair out--pls help! Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Are you looking on the Google Play Store webpage on your computer browser? On that page, "Installed" only means it's been installed at some point in the past on at least one of your devices. It will still say Installed even if you uninstall the app from all devices.

But it is puzzling why one Note Pro can install it, but the other can't. On the one that can't, what happens when you open the Play Store and search for Xfinity TVGo? Does it show up at all?

Are there any differences at all between the two tablets? Is one rooted?
