Multiple texts
I have an LG L40G smartphone. I use Straight talk as my carrier. I get multiple texts from "non-contact". For instance, I signed up for USPS package tracking. I got over a dozen "welcome" texts. They came throughout the day and even the next day. All with the same date and time stamp. This happened before with a company I signed up for to get "text alerts" for coupons.
I have read some reviews on this, some say they think it's because they are connected to wifi. I am not. I'm using my phones' unlimited data.
I do not get multiple texts from people in my contacts. "friends" They have sent me texts in the past and I have just received that one message. These texts seem to be "company" related.
