Why do i ha e duplicate apps with orange cirles around it

[Android Central Question]

My phone one day showed duplicate apps and the duplicate apps had orange circles around them. Why Is that. I thing my wife has I stalled a spy app or children's app on my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Why would you immediately jump to the conclusion that your wife has installed spyware? There are many other reasonable possible explanations.
