Why do I have to press one to answer a call on my galaxy note 4?

I thought it had something to do with google voice so i uninstalled it from my phone. I have scoured the settings on the device and I can't see anything that would make me have to press one after pressing the answer button. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! That's odd. So when you answer the call, does the keypad immediately pop up, or do you have to bring it up? And then you can't actually hear the caller until you press the "1" key on the dialer keypad?
