Why do I keep dropping WIFI connection?

Dropping WIFI connection

I just got this 5X today and transferred my tel number from a flip phone into the new phone with Cricket. The connection was made and I can call etc I haven't tried any of the 5X functions or Aps. I have tried to set up the wifi but it keps dropping the signal
What do I do

Are you within range of the signal? Is this happening on all WiFi networks?

If this is your home wifi, you can try resetting your router.
