I keep getting an error code that randomly pops up through out the day. the code is 7936. does anyone know what this means or what it is from?

Re: I keep getting an error code popping up in a bubble on my screen

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Is there anything else in the error message?

Same here. Its a toast message of sorts but cannot seem to figure out where it comes from. It does not stay up long enough to get a screen shot. Same type of notification bubble as when you connect to a new wifi network etc., but all it says "7936".

This seems to be new since Lollipop as well.

Ok so after finding literally 0 info on this on the interwebs, some really smart dev friends of mine suggested this is an error code for an unknown bluetooth device.
This makes sense as I currently run a Fitbit Charge and an LG Bluetooth headset on my phone.

public static final int UNCATEGORIZED Added in API level 5 Constant Value: 7936 (0x00001f00)

Thus 7936 seems like a generic code for unknown bluetooth device.

Im going to do some testing to see if this is an issue with either device I mentioned or a generic issue with Lollipop, or Lollipop with either device.
