Why do I keep getting Mystery Photos?

Mystery Photos

Everytime I upload photos & videos from my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone onto my computer, hundreds of mystery pictures show up. I cannot see these photos when I scroll through the pics on my phone or I would deleate them.

I don't really know how to explain it, but they are pics of random people, places, screen shots, etc. They always show up looking dim, blurry and slightly pixelated, so I can more easily identify which ones not to upload, but with hundreds to go through it is very time consuming.

I don't want pictures of mystery people on my computer. I can't figure where they are coming from, or how to stop them, or how to delete them (since they do not show up on my phone).

Any ideas?

Is there any info attached to these pictures? Like a time they were taken or their location? Did you sell an old phone and forget to do a factory reset?
