Why do I keep getting old messages sent to me on my s20

[Android Central Question]

I keep getting old messages sent to me over and over again. After the update which is a few days ago, I noticed that started happening. I would get messages from July 2021 or something like that. I thought maybe it got stuck so I deleted the conversation as much as I didn't want to... But it's still happening. I had to turn off my notification... That's how bad it is. Please help

You using stock Samsung message app or something different?
Clear data then force stop the message app and see if it continues.

As it started after your system update, clear the cache partition and reboot. Good luck
