Android Central Question

Same 'No Service' problem on two seperate devices both having had hardware changed.

My first S6 recieved this problem after I got the charging port replaced. All network settings were attempted but failed including a factory reset so I gave up trying to fix it.

My girlfriend had another old S6 from the EU so she gave it to me and it worked fine until the battery swolled up, so now I decided to fix it myself and replaced the battery with the new one from my previous S6.

The switch was done no problem but once again on the second device I now have the same 'No Service' problems....

I don't feel as if I broke anything but can't be sure. No idea if hardware or software issue.

Please help me if you can! I plan to buy a new phone but currently can't budget for it.

Since you know how to pen the phone, check the antenna connection (the "stiff" wire. It has to be plugged in all the way).

Or it could be a coincidence, and both phones developed bad receivers or bad SIM ports at the same time in their lives - right after being repaired for things that had nothing to do with service.
