Why do my friends' emails appear on the phone address book?

I set up e-mail and it works just fine. However, when I check my address book, there are new contacts created from my friends'email (like they would say "steve@gmail.com" without phone number. And there are like tons of them automatically created for me from my email contacts. How do I delete all of it? Thanks!

i don't know how it went there as I have one of mine there as well.


to delete = phone book/contacts>menu>delete>select

or link them one by one to their respective contact with phone number

Easy solution, go to your contacts, push the menu button, then settings. Check the top box.
